I liked that reveal in one Mozenrath episode (I think it was this one with the pesky pixies) where his magic gauntlet came off for the first time revealing [spoiler]||as a side effect of using it's power, it reduced his entire arm to a still-moving/in-tact animated skeleton arm. As he put it, he literally gave up his right hand for power. He even states just using the magic gauntlet's power is "painful."[/spoiler]
