ya know, (in my opinion) its not the ship that atracts backlash, is the oc that echo is being shipped to the one that atracts backlash; i mean, "**murder** blast" black and red mane (those colors are very hated) and i would say something about the green, but ey, both of my ocs are green too
and it feels a little bit odd, its hard to put a ship to some very long and very popular/loved oc, and because some dude popularizes the oc, and_*some_* people takes him as the "owner" of said oc, dosent makes him the owner, dear ol echo was created by a bunch of anons, thats the problem, no way to know who really created her, and so, no way to give the ownership to someone
i just say that, you should consider changing some things about "murder blast" if you dont want that much backlash
