I'm not going to waste much time on the description, except to ask if there's _*ever_* been a time when "waifu stealing" wasn't tongue-in-cheek.
 
Anyhow, I first saw this episode with several hundred other people at Ponyville Ciderfest this past Saturday (because of the nature of the panel and the fact that it was immediately followed by a script reading, no recording was allowed), and there were a lot more groans over Sunburt's cluelessness than anything this guy made up, and only a collective "whoah!" andto Starlight's solution.
 
Later that day, there was a panel of the reviwers who make the TF2 videos, and even the ones who haven't always loved Starlight (such as DaWillstanator) said that they were more on her side, but that everyone was in-character.
