Not really. I once thought the CMCs would never get their CMs before the series ends. Same with RD getting into the Wonderbolts. If the show lasts long enough, lets see where they take the Starlight and Sunburst thing.
 
EDIT: Also, watch Star VS The Forces of Evil. The way they play off of Star's situation with Marco is hilarious. Even Star's exboyfriend like Marco.
