But why a reboot with literally the same characters? I mean, they did not even change the colors of Twilight (g4) and Fluttershy. And you ask, why a continuation?

Seriously, you really think that 10 years is really a great time to "reboot characters"? And people even compare this with Sponge Bob, give me a break, Sponge Bob is airing on TV since 1999. Also, making a continuaition with different characters it would not make any difference, wait, it would... Because they would not need to use the same characters and probably trash their personalities away. Let see if this new generation is not a new kind of G 3.5.
