Quit trying to be a smartass, because not only are you not being very smart, but you're just trying to avoid being wrong
I never once said I speak for everyone, unlike how you did. So you can get off your little high horse right now and stop trying to arrogantly talk like you're coming form some moral high ground.
This was my original comment.
"I already don’t like him.
The idea "only similar people end up together" is so overused at this point. I guess I mean it’s like the noble knight and the beautiful princess ending up together, which we’ve all only seen like a million or two times already. And I of course mean that that as just a example of an overused cliché type of couple.
I think it would’ve been a lot more interesting if they just had him not be so similar to Maud in personality. They should’ve gone the whole Jessica and Roger Rabbit kind of dynamic, where the two people, or ponies in this case, care for each other despite looking, acting or sounding different from each other.
Like if this guy, Mud Briar, was a bit manic geologist who gets excited and enthusiastic about his passion easily. Kind of like a somewhat toned down Pinkie Pie, but over geology instead of parties and spreading cheer."
Not once did I even come close to acting like I spoke for everyone. I was expressing my own opinion on the character and pointed out how there were some overused tropes or clichés to him.
