We'd actually prefer if people _*didn't_* tag whatever they wanted.
 
The 2015 tag is meant for images that directly reference the year in some fashion.
 
I'll add a description to the 2015 tag to make the purpose more obvious.
 
And the june 2015 tag serves no purpose for helping people find images.
 
Date tags are not necessary on their own since we list the method of searching by upload date on the [search syntax page](/search/syntax):
