Sometimes the player herself is not sure if she is in- or out-of-character, so the answers aren't always clear-cut, but:

- If a **pony** is addressed by name, then it is **out**-of-character.

- If a **character** is addressed by name, then it is **in**-character.

- Unique text (whole in bold like Bark's, or all lowercase, like in Greed & Raeps case), then it is **voice acting** and **in**-character.

- On many previous pages, when a **whole text** said by a pony was **in parentheses**, then it was **out**-of-character.

(Here only Twilight's _*"(Shade's not here yet.)"_* follows that.)

When Twi is describing events and not speaking like Merlin (*"Lady Pinka!"* etc.) then Twi is being OOC

I can't edit derpibooru uploads, and still wondering/experimenting if characters/ponies-using-eachothers'-names is enough of an indicator.

Also, In Real Life it is hard to say too sometimes, because people don't Voice Act most of the time, and you have to guess.

Usually I used the whole-texts-in-parentheses when I thought other things _*didn't indicate stuff enough._
