Yeah, the ironic thing is, gamers got mad when one site gave "Twilight Princess" an 8.8, instead of a perfect 9 or 10 as TVTropes pointed out.
I remember somebody gave "Super Mario Land 2" a low star score on the 3DS, just because it was "black & white." Apparently, they didn't know what a "Gameboy" was. (And ironically, that game is considered one of the best Mario games regardless.) So some oddly judge older games wrongly.
NintendoLife gave some pretty good classic Nintendo games like "Balloon Fight" or "Kirby's Pinball Land" low scores, yet oddly gave hard to play ones like "Clu Clu Land" much higher.
