I can understand market realities. It just sucks a bit when styles become so homogenised. MLP is pretty commercial stuff obviously, but it still manages to look distinctive and punch above its weight animation-wise.


 
Sure, this show could have some good writing, but ithere's also aseems trlikend of animation is moving towards a certain kind of high-octane wackiness that sacrifices long-form storytelling for mile-a-minute jokes. It makes shows begin to FEEL the same as well.

Sure, this show could have some good writing, but there's also a trend of animation moving towards a certain kind of high-octane wackiness that sacrifices long-form storytelling for mile-a-mindute jokes. It makes shows begin to FEEL the same as well.
