You could really just tell that to Fluttercord shippers. For real, the reason why he is this nice to her is because she is his first and best friend and changed him to be a better person, no wonder why he is going to show stronger emotions towards her than the others, but it doesn't always means it's in the romantic way. Read in the context, not every strong male and female relationship is romantic, sometimes it's just being friends way (but I guess you need an Einstein equation to convince them)
