Well, it's not like Discord, Nightmare Moon, Tempest, Trixie, Starlight or any of the other antagonists showed remorse before their reformation episodes, either. Lightning Dust just hasn't HAD a reformation episode yet, so of course she hasn't shown remorse yet. She's just as capable of reforming as the rest, in fact, a lot even more so, because she was once Rainbow Dash's friend, they weren't rivals from the start, and if you remember, broken friendships are always rekindled in MLP.
