It's not entirely about what they did, it's about acknowledging the damage they had caused and changing their ways. Every nonpossessed character you listed had a heel-face turn once they realized how destructive their actions were. By contrast, every character in OP's image knew full well how wrong their actions were, had personally witnessed the consequences, then doubled down anyway.
