I couldn't agree more. She's not an antagonist who _*wants_* to do horrid things to ponies, she's just a bit reckless. Villains like Starlight or Trixie or Wind Rider have the intent of harming or doing something bad to a pony, but Lightning Dust doesn't. She just wants to win, and just sometimes overlooks other ponies in the process. All she needs is to learn that safety is important. It's not like she's evil or cruel or nasty or irredeemable.
