I think when Hasbro shows the human Sunset Shimmer, it will be when the series is going to end.


 
I think I see some clues, Sunset Shimmer looked like the leader of the Rainbooms in the 3rd and 4th movies, while the specials and the series are moving forward, we can see Sci-Twi taking the place of the leader (I think), so I think that when the human version of Sunset Shimmer appears and also the dimensional cracks, the series could end with the return of Sunset Shimmer to Equestria (to fix the dimensional cracks) and the appearance of the human version of Sunset Shimmer.
