SO by what you just stated if each is $100 then
 
40%($60) + 50%($50) + 60%($40) + 70%($30) + 80%($20) = #200
 
Still $200 for 5 = $40 a character is just outrageous beyond stupidity. Really who would even spend on something that you don't play but once in a blue moon and do really nothing but build a little town? I don't get it.
