Yeah, while she gave some help in the end, ironically, she wasn't in the episode much. Though, sometimes her haters call her a "Spotlight-stealing Mary-Sue" if she so much as makes a one-line-of-dialogue cameo in an episode...
 
...I wish I was exaggerating, but literally that actually happened with a few episodes on the _*"We hate Starlight, she has cooties"_* club on FiMFiction. People actually lost their schmitz over her just merely appearing in an episode briefly, an episode she hardly did bansically nothing in.


 
I think that's when the hatred over a fictional pink horse is going ovverboard.
 
Seriously, the Starlight-hatred got so unbearable for me, I stopped hating her myself, and decided to give her another chance. Overall I've enjoyed her, even if she isn't perfect, nor my favorite character at all. I especially, enjoy her being a foil for Twilight, Trixie, or Maude.
