I had guessed we wouldn't find out anything about what happened to Wind Sprint's dad, and I was almost right. The episode doesn't mention it outright, but there's a pretty big hint that the poor fellow's no longer among the living: Wind Sprint says, "My dad was a great flyer."


 
"Was" a great flyer, not "is". She wouldn't have put it that way if the guy was still around.
