Though you aren't constantly coming back here to alter the tags :P Like I said though, I was mainly teasing, at the end of the day it doesn't matter who made the bad joke XD You can both include it on your resume if you want, I don't mind.

Contradictive humour (which this image isn't) is a type of humour that does fall into what I said, it has a set-up and punchline and the joke comes from a subversion of the joke format itself. Because we as a species understand the set-up and punchline so well, it's so programmed into us that contradictive humour can take that premise and then play with it by subverting expectations. Pointing this out actually unintentionally helps my point XD Thanks for that.

So A. it doesn't contradict what I said and B. It doesn't apply here since this image ain't it chief and C. I never said a joke is a single specific way of operation... Like at all. I said a joke has a set-up and punchline so if a joke is played straight like it is here but the premise doesn't work then the punchline is secondary to the premise which makes it a bad joke.. since it's just words at that point XD There's no type of humour where the premise doesn't work but the joke does. Even contradictive humour relies on the premise of the format working. so it can then be subverted.
