In fact, this time the villains weren't really all that malicious this time. Heck it could be argued that they caused more damage to themselves than other people whose names are not Sunset Shimmer, and they really didn't go on their way to harm someone at least until they got discovered, and even then rather than go into violent mode they just used a relatively pacific way to keep them away.
