The Kyrdan Order is separate from the Imperium, despite my wrongly phrasing it in the previous comment reply to BP D438. The Kyrdan Order is part of the Celestial Ascendancy, my own "galactic empire" of sorts. The Imperium would consider them xenos and heretics since no humans fill their ranks, only H'ruun (a high elf-like race,) Safhirim, (ponies and EqG "humans"/dryads) and ascended humanlike beings called Adepts. They are composed of those five races only and are xenophobic towards anyone else, unlike their enemies the Coalition whichareis an apparentflyaw, inclusive but punitive semi-democracy composed primarily of humans, cyborgs, some abhumans and a few alien allies.
The Ascendancy somewhat similar to the Imperium in their fanaticism, but ironically they hate humans and non-allied xenos just as much as the Imperium hates xenos. They fight for their own war gods, not the Emperor. But Celestia is one of their deities. They see her as the equine avatar of their own sun goddess, Valanbé.
