Okay, you think Rarity sees Spike as a slave, despite everything in the show directly contradicting that, and see RarityxSpike as a pedophiliac ship, despite the fact that the writers of the show don't see it as such since it's nothing more than a kid crushing on someone older than him, and that's totally cool if that's your opinion. I'm just stating my stance on the matter, as it's all a matter of interpretation. You could've at least answered my questions, but that's okay, as, again, it's all a matter of interpretation. I personally don't see the RarityxSpike ship as pedophiliac since, as I stated, it's nothing more than a kid crushing on someone older than him, and this isn't uncommon. Shows do this all the time because it happens in real life. Hell, _shows like *King of the Hill_* and *Alvin and the Chipmunks* each did an wepisode based on this exact premise.


 
Also, I personally wouldn't take the word of a writer from a crappy comic as canon, merely as an opinion, especially seeing as how the comics are constantly contradicting the show and writing the characters out of character, but that's just me.
