Actually what happened in the original is that this night of drunken sex caused her to oversleep and miss her trip, forever costing her the EQSA opportunity. Her getting pregnant afterwards was a complete accident, though certainly one Jet welcomed. I assume that hasn't changed in this one, considering she still said that she would be picked up "tomorrow."
