My character in a surprising turn of events was recruited by shackles after he witnessed my character bully some NPCs and themn promptly fight back two party members who tried to stand up to her over it. To paraphrase it was basically "Hey, I see you're a colossal bitch. Wanna join my crew?" Of course she doesn't know just how evil Shackles is yet.
