Oh yeah, discord suggested and helped turn them to stone.
 
Good point, this is a bit of a moral dilemma, it is Discord who set them free, came up with a scheme, and instructed them. yYet he roamgets away with it scot-free. It's not entity the villains' faults! Discord is the enabler, and he's look very guilty.  
What, no trial, one of the many perks of supreme rulership.
