I really do like the theme they are going for here (most noticeable at the left half).
Reason: Huh. The clouds really do turn pink during sundown...

The only issue I myself see with it is that the clouds are pink, which contradicts what color clouds are in the rest of the show.

Yeah; while it may look bad, but it's only the art style. So it's actually not awful at all.
