This happened after she came back from the "Starswirl´s Music Festival" (when she & Pinkie destroyed the Time Twirler, the "bond" between the CHS´s universe & the EQG´s Equestria got shifted, linking each other to other universes).
 
-> It would be interesting to see what happens when Princess Twilight becomes worried that her "student" Sunset is not writting or answering her through the book & decides to go through the portal. Would she meet "Sunny"?
