People hate her for being evil and most of the cozy haters are glimmer lovers
I've seen A LOT of Starlight Drama, and one of the most popular excuse to say Cozy's punishment is ok and starlight was good to set free is "remorse",just saying when Starlight's magic was in way too powerful to be defeated easily and Twilight showed the consequences of her actions
While Cozy was fully aware of her actions,but didn't understand friendship and was immediately sent to Tartarus
The difference here is the age
Cozy is a child, and children are so fucking stubborn if they don't get what they want
