Yeah that’s why I don’t like rumors; because people have a tendency to convince themselves that they’re confirmed when the fact is they’re not.
Example: several years ago people convinced themselves a Switch port of Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U was going to happen and that anyone who said otherwise was wrong. Then Smash Ultimate was announced.
