I don't know if the fact that they're all going to live together in the same house bodes well for the plot, because even though it's a separate series, some things can't be completely different from the main show.
If they molive in together in the main show as well, it could mean that most of the events will take place in Maretime Bay and the storyline will revolve around learning to live with others.
Sure, I'm not expecting great things from this youtube series and the main show will be better than this, but as we only have eight episodes, I'm starting to doubt there will be much deeper lore.
