Her original voice sounded like a down syndrome person. Should be on YouTube still. Parents were upset, bc she sounded as if they were making fun of mentally handicapped kids. so they changed it to something cuter. Which upset the fans for giving in.
Objectively the first was kinda bad. Wasn't until episode 100 she got a voice again.
There was a period they were going to scrap her altogether. Iirc.
