Nope, the reason was that she was an alicorn. That's all. They simply don't want another alicorn hogging spotlight. The second reason was that mosthere are people that assumed they weare indeed born (besides the ascended ones) and this was reinforced by The Journal of The Two Sisters, but then that silly Josh Haber with his "winging it" policy and not bothering a bit to maintain some consistency produced that confusing little dialogue between Celestia and Luna that makes people lose their minds.
