oh, you know -- because I don't see Sunset as most fans do (my interpretation of her would definitely unsettle a lot of you guys here), I see her wanting to get even with him for breaking up with her. she doesn't like when other people do not feed into her negativity, as she's a slimy, dastardly attention seeker. she'd be too full of herself to regret her past mistakes.
