Picture 5: Parasprites and Cockatrice.
The cockatrice is a cross between bird and reptile: my specialties. It’s pretty much how I do my dinosaurs.
Parasprites best exemplify my problem with drawing for this fandom: The show’s style is radically different from my own. Since I’ve done realistic Pokémon before, I attacked the problem the same way: how would it actually look?
My answer is a housefly with ant mandibles, water strider legs, and hornet wings.
