they shouldn’t be if they are 1 Colgate’s hair not cut strait and 2 Colgate is not a crystal pony also the color is a bit different for both so i think Colgate and Minuette should be 2 different ponies thus why i go with the way the pony platforming project does it

Yes, Minuette is definitely the pony from the show. The lack of the light streak is probably because of Hasbro’s way of making toys cheap. It happened to Heartstrings, in the past.  
Here’s hoping that we get a brushable Minuette with accurate colors in the future.
 
P.S.: “Minuette” is a gorgeous name. “Colgate” was only fun when it started, now it’s lame. Getting used to the change is a piece of cake, for me.

She is the pony from the show, and her name is Minuette. Remember, both blind bag toys of Lyra Heartstrings are Twilight Sparkle recolors, and the first of those two similarly has no light streak.

Not this shit again. It’s hard enough as it is to keep track of all the background pony names, let alone ensuring that I don’t commit fandom heresy by saying the wrong name to the wrong group of fans.

Or just the usual shortcomings of the blind bag toy line. They had “Heartstrings” in one wave, but they adjusted her colouration (particularly on the card, which was nothing like the toy) and named her “Lyra Heartstrings” in a later wave (and of course, the brushable Lyra that came a little later).
