That reminds me of that short lived series MondoMedia had going on that poked fun at that very trope (Bikini Chainmall Squad or something, too lazy to look it up XD). I remember episode 1 had the leader chick mentioning how BS it was that all the men got the armor that looked protective while the female armor was no better than a bikini, and then one more episode took it a step further to show how this fictional word treats female adventures by showing that when they “level up” they get increased breast or ass sizes. :P
