Good logic, but it looks like the artist doesn’t follow it.

It seems that he draws pegasi as regular chao with longer wings. Which is rather less effective, since all chao have wings and can fly.
 
Though that does raise the question of what the Princesses would be.

Because this artist draws unichao has dark chao, earth chao as neutral chao- which would, in theory, leave pegasi as hero chao. Which works, what with the angel-wings and halo thing that that would give them.
