Born from a tiny group of worshipers of the radiations, the Children of the Cloud is a new expanding religion that consider the Pink Cloud as “the union of all the souls of those who, during the war, decided to abandon their earthly bodies and becoming the cloud “.
 
According to their beliefs, Canterlot is the source of the Cloud and the place where, once someone of them become a “chosen” (meaning that he just die), will live forever. For them, a ghoul is not an heretic or a renegade from the cloud, but rather someone with an unresolved or special duty, which receive a far greater prize than just death.
 
It is not clear when it was the Great Schism, but since then it has create two distinct groups: one, commanded by Mother Isotope, who prefers to promote the belief of the cult peacefully and respecting the ideas and creeds of the local population .  
On the other hand, however, there’s Tech Tools group, a fanatic who has managed to become a ghoul immune to the cloud and, for some years by now, lives on the island of Far Port, outside the coasts of Mane, threatening the safety and lives of the ponies who live there with what looks like a new form of the Cloud and irradiated weapons.
 
By now, the most active place of the Children is Owlston’s Commonwealth .
