Likes: Fishing in fresh water and salt water, large bodies of water: oceans and lakes, and swimming. Her favorite fish is Koi.  
Dislikes: Closed spaces like under the bed or the closet, the dark, and turtles. A turtle bit her muzzle when she was a filly.
 
Lilypad loves to fish even though no pony in Equestria eat meat. The only business she receives are from business ponies who handle carnivorous animals. Considering the lack of business, she likes to use her magic to make lily pads sturdier, in order for her to stay afloat on water. This is okay because she’s pretty lazy anyways. When she floats on her lily pad, she often day dreams of becoming a merpony, so she can swim and never have to return to the hardships of her ordinary life. It’s kind of hard to relax on the surface of lakes, because turtles love to climb on board and try to relax as well. Lilypad would often scream and do whatever she can to get away, and even stay away from the same lake for a week until she believes it’s safe to return. When the day turns close to night, she frantically hurries on home to avoid the dark and quickly turns on her lights. When she goes asleep for the night, she leaves all the lights off but one, her bedside koi desklamp.
