Uh, I wish I was paid for these. ^^;

A picture made with this Faber-Castell box. Usually I use 0.5 rods, also by FC, but this one is done with wooden pencils. Good thing about them is the feeling of the pencil, the smell, it’s very nice. And it can be thinner than the mechanic pencil tip. Not so nice is how fast they run out, especially soft ones. It takes a lot of sharpening, about 1 sharpener per pencil cause they get dull and start to break and leave a round tip. The amount of wood shavings make me sorry for the trees I waste. :sigh:

But in general it’s possible with traditional pencils. And some skill, just a bit. What I like about FC is they really rarely break. High quality. Normally I use wooden ones for slight sketchy lines to start with, I’d have to switch rods for mechanical one as it takes H. And my rod is usually 2B. And soft hatching, I use wooden pencils for that too. So… Yeah, all my artworks are done with FC. I guess they deserve a little advertisement. ^^;
