It’s a niche console, and even if it doesn’t do well, I’m interested in it. The idea of an open console I could develop on fairly easily appeals to me.

Only having just looked into OUYA, I can’t help but think that while the devs want it to be about anybody making games and earning money from it, it will actually turn into iTunes Appstore 2.0

Are you shitting me with this? First that BS from that Angry Birds guy about console gaming “dying” and now this? You got three juggernauts that have collectively monopolized console gaming console gaming as we know it (four if you want to count PC which is sort of its own thing altogether) and you wanna push another console on us, one that uses the same gaming hardware as a fucking phone?! Whoever is making this OUYA is either full of themselves or just insane!
 
Oh well at least it’s supposedly got Final Fantasy III as a launch title, a classic game we can’t possibly get anywhere else other than maybe the Nintendo DS.

I’m not sure if this made by a console hater or someone who does not understand the idea behind OUYA.
