Where’s Aria Blazae and Sonata Dusk? Rainbow Rocks has only not one, not two, but three main antagonists. Aria and Sonata should have appeared in the second box with Adagio.
One by one, each of the four antagonists started to look at the one to her left. With a smirk creeping up her face, Principal Cinch used a magical locket to drain Gloriosa of much of her magic. But as she ran towards a river, Adagio reverted into her siren form and created a powerful wave that swept the miserable principal up to a tree, and grabbed the magical locket with her mouth.
Then, Sunset Shimmer tugged at her golden tail, and lit up her mutant hands, boiling and scalding the screaming sea siren. As the poor beast released the capsule, Sunset propelled herself into the air with jets of fire from her hands, and quickly clutched the capsule. But before she can have any chance to escape, she and the siren were trapped into cages formed from roots, that shot up from the ground.
Gloriosa magically lifted herself using a platform sprouted from a tree stump. She gloated as the enraged Sunset tries and fails to destroy her cage, as a raging flame in an lantern of invincible branches.
“Return that stolen magic of yours, and I will allow you and that goldfish to go home.” Upon hearing this insult, Adagio furiously shrieked and gnawed at her cage, but to no avail.
“No way!” barked Sunset, whose blinding orange glow lit up the forest like a beacon. She opened the magical capsule, and burst out of her cage as a terrifying being: monstrous, yet brighter than the noonday sun!
