Title drop!

This page was rather exhausting to work on, mostly because of all the emotions that are portrayed in it. This is the most emotionally intense moment in the story where the two main characters are going to be separated. It’s also the first time we have dialogue, while the rest of the comic has been narrated from Hurricane’s point of view. It wasn’t so much my emotions were mirroring those of the comic, but more me stressing over the possibility of mocking things up and ruining the whole thing. I hope it all worked out well in the end and that you guys enjoy the results.

Apologies for not releasing this page during the month of February. Life has gotten surprisingly busy over here, so getting this one ready has been a bit of a struggle. In order to compensate we will be releasing another page this month. So after a month with no updates, you get two updates in one month! I hope you guys find this okay.

Priorities
Well, “just a private who holds a flag…” kind of diminishes the all too real importance of flag bearing. From what I’ve read on the accounts of Waterloo, Pansy here would be the right gal for the job, however, it was considered one of the most dangerous jobs on the battlefield. The colors were a rallying-point and a source of inspiration and soldiers fought tooth and nail to either keep or steal those colors.

This is also not to downplay the importance of Hurricane’s position, I just felt that this needed to be said.
