And that’s how Spike’s egg was made: it explains why neither Discord or Chrysalis messed with Spike… plus, magic green fire? I can’t be the only person to notice that its very similar to the Changelings.

Keeping that ship in mind, I like to imagine Discord and Chrysalis still going on dates from time to time, but spending the entire time trying to sway each other to good or evil respectively.

Evil Discord + Chrysalis = Best MLP ship.
 
I also really like Sombra + Chrysalis though, especially now that Discord isn’t evil anymore.
