I’d never drawn Ember before! So then I did.
 
Fun fact: before I cropped the picture, Ember was standing under the proclamation “I can’t draw”. This is something I think every artist believes sometimes, regardless of skill level. Don’t despair, novice line-shapers! You’re better than you think! Sketch lightly, fix your mistakes early, and don’t give up, even if you have to redo something twenty times over. You know what a good picture looks like, so just keep correcting until you’ve trial-and-errored your way into one!
 
I didn’t trial-and-error her tail to be behind her right wing, because I forgot she had wings until I had already drawn the rest of her. I always do that.
