If love was a car, you wouldn’t buy. Too much upkeep, too much noise for such little speed, falls apart after just a few miles, no room, no manual, no spare included and no company that provides insurance.

Listen kids, I hate to break it to you, but what ponies calls “love” is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, kids, then it slowly fades, leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. I did it. Your parents are gonna do it. Break the cycle, you two. Rise above. Focus on science.

It makes people do insane things they normally wouldn’t do, and which they normally would know they shouldn’t do.  
It makes people easy marks when love is used against them by someone who makes up for in greed what they lack in scruples.  
It makes people say things like “oh, no, they hit me but it’s my fault, really”.  
It ends. It always ends, and the best possible end is both lovers dying together so neither has to mourn the other.  
It’s the difference between “I guess whoever likes to have sex with people who aren’t me, whatever” and “you had sex with that person!? My heart is broken and I want to die!”.  
It’s a dirty trick by nature and your own brain to try to make you have children, whether you can handle it or not. Because nature don’t give a hoot about you and what you want your life to be!  
It’s like being on drugs, if drugs could break up with you and reduce you to an addict going through withdrawals because drugs’ friends think drugs could do better.  
Pushing it to the forefront made watching Friends a slog.
