Sound, song based on songs (such as I Dreamed a Dream) from the musical Les Miserables. Very effect emotionally, in all manners. Of course, it’s entirely pathos, but fitting logos into a song and short video is a bit hard to do. Of course, a lot of those things are illegal, like whaling and cutting off the Rhino horns, though I’m fairly certain the poachers don’t just cut off the horns: they actually kill it and then cut it off. The ones that cut off the parts they want and then leave the animal alive to suffer are the Chinese shark fin poachers, who cut off shark fins and then dump the shark into the water, still alive but helpless to do anything but sink and die. Really, it’s a small minority that kill animals, though they do kill a lot and get very rich. If you want for something to be done, You need to get rid of the buyers, not the sellers, and that means doing things like going to China and cracking down on Shark Fin Soup, or going to wherever China and cracking down on people who think that eating Giraffe brain cures cancer, or going to China and stopping Ivory sculptures… though I’m glad to say that it was announced, at the end of last year, that by the end of this year China will make ivory trade illegal.
