I’m gonna start trying to post shipping pictures on Saturdays and Sundays to give myself a sort of schedule to follow, basically titled S.S.S for shameless boat references playing off two weekdays beginning with ‘S’…./
 
To start, a ship I have started to find interesting and underrated from what I’ve seen, but it does seem to have some solid shippers yet still seems underutilized to me. Now I’m still very much a Dislestia fan, but I always felt bad that I couldn’t see Luna with many shippings and that often she is placed with unknown ponies or OCs to make up for this. Yet ever since I’ve seen amazing head-canons with Celestia/Chrysalis normally Chrissie being shipped with either Discord or Luna I decided to give the night princess some love and see how she and Discord would fair.
 
I have to say I’ve fallen more in love with the idea. I can see a similar bond between these two that Twicord has with Luna being a bit more serious and reserve then others, yet still having that room to joke around and to lighten up some. Also both being ones who understand what its like to be ignored and dismissed, Discord could understand Lunas feelings of being left in her sisters shadow, where she could understand his feelings of being outcasted by not only appearances but his previous actions against Equestria. The image of Discord keeping Luna company on long nights and joyfully-sometimes annoyingly- being a bright shiny face to her early morning retreats from a long night as well make me smile x3. I’m honestly still very lost on making a next gen, one because I feel it’s been done by plenty of better artists and so much so that my addition wouldn’t bring much new, and two because I can’t settle on ships or kid designs that I feel I can flesh out D:
 
Of course I may just need to chill more and let it flow naturally. Perhaps worrying less and drawing more…NAH XD
