Description
The great King of Evil has lived through many heroes, and many centuries, always failing in his quest. But when he discovers the existence of six magical gemstones with enough power to kill the hero with a single blast, he takes the gemstones, but a new and powerful kind of magic that he had never experienced before drives all sense and sanity from his head, transforming him into a wicked, power-hungry monster that will stop at nothing. For the first time in history, the hero may fall, and the legend may be broken forever.
Spoiler alert: Vio is only half right.
Yes, Link being part of quadruplets in this story is an obvious reference to Four Swords (and Vio being the book nerd is similar to how he is in the Four Swords manga). Little fun fact for you all in that Vio’s brothers all dub him the “Walking Wikipedia”. The Hyrule in this story is far more modernized than it is ingame, which is why Wikipedia is a thing and you will also see Link fiddling with his cell phone later at various points.
