This is a commission I did for about … well, I wouldn’t know if you could really call it an OC… more of a… ponysona of a real person.  
Chester Bennington, the lead singer for American Nü Metal - Rap Rock band Linkin Park.
 
I’ve always liked Linkin Park, both old and new, and I was really sad when I heard about Chester’s passing last year, so working on this, I was really interested and motivated. Many others have ponified the Hybrid Theory album cover, but I tried to make it different from others’ renditions, as if not to fall into it looking copied or something. I also decided to call it Hippogriff Theory, considering how Hippogriffs are a race of part pony, part griffin looking creatures, a sort of Hybrid, you could say.
 
Anyways, I’m happy with the results, and so was the commissioner, but I also hope you are!
